The Peaks Hair Salon and Matter of Trust have joined up to help with the Gulf Oil Spill

May 28th, 2010 - Lafayette, Colorado

The Peaks Hair Salon and Matter of Trust have collaborated to help collect used nylon’s/pantyhose and hair for the Gulf Oil Spill. These products are being used to help fight the oil spill in the gulf. Booms are being made all along the Gulf Coast. In addition, municipalities from all over are setting up collection and boom storage centers. There are an average 2,600 smaller spills every year!

We shampoo because hair collects oil. Why should millions of pounds of absorbent, natural, renewable hair, fur, fleece clippings go to waste every day?
